Encounters South African International Documentary Festival is Africa’s oldest documentary film festival. Run in Cape Town and Johannesburg every year the best of the African films in the festival are being brought to KwaZulu-Natal province.

DocuFest Africa is a documentary photography and archives festival created to showcase the best of documentary practice and to inspire a new generation of documenters and curators

Both Festivals happen in the midst of The Digital Campus providing world class training to media and heritage professionals.
